He is survived by: his wife Judy; his children, Julie Staples, Coreena Weiland (John), Brian Erdmann and Michelle Erdmann; his grandchildren, Thomas Erdmann (Autumn), John Staples (Heavan), Tiffany Foster (Travis) and Morgan Wieland; and his siblings, Della Wojcik and Edward Erdmann (Corinne). He is also survived by 5 great-grandchildren.
