He was predeceased by: his parents, Anna Perger and Fred Perger; his son Linden (Mae); and his siblings, Jerry, Jimmy, Rudy, Toni, Annie and Blanche.

He is survived by: his significant other Bernice Schulpius; his daughters, Beverly (Jean), Cathy Smith (Kevin) and Cheryl Merkes (Rick); his grandchildren, Valerie (Josh), Craig (Alison), Danielle (Chris) and Devin (Aaron); and his great grandchildren, Jake, Morgan, Will and Shiloh. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
