He was predeceased by: his parents, Arnold Kahl and Ethel Kahl (Duncan); his wife Sandra Warner; his sister Sharron Glaser; his brothers-in-law, David Eggen and Jerry Glaser; and his nephew Joel Glaser.

He is survived by: his children, Danny Kahl (Mary Ann) of Chetek, Tammy Stuart (Tom) of Prairie Farm and Susette Voldberg (Shaun) of Prairie Farm; his grandchildren, Ariel, Alyssa, Anthony Voldberg, Dylan Stuart, Anthony Czekalski (Jaimi) and Reanna Richie (Buck); his great grandchildren, Brentley, Riftyn, Aiden, Hailey, Ryker, Blair and Harrison; and his siblings, Larry Kahl (Joann) and Sheila Eggen (David Lee). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives & friends.
