He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard Sr. Kahl and Nellie Kahl (Olson); his sister Pat Hancock; his brother-in-law Roger Hancock; and his parents-in-law, Florence Ludy and Kenneth Ludy.
He is survived by: his wife Sandra Kahl (Ludy); his sons, Christopher Kahl of Barron and Timothy Kahl (Tina) of Edgerton; his granddaughters, Jenna and Brooke; his siblings, Barbara King (Ronald) of Turtle Lake, Linda Thuftin (Donald) of Almena, Bernard Jr. Kahl (Nancy) of Rice Lake, Michael Kahl of Turtle Lake, Debra Hemauer (Bradley) of Prairie Farm and Jeffrey Kahl (Joan) of Chippewa Falls; and his brother-in-law Robert Ludy (Connie) of Menomonie. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, and friends.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the American Stroke Association.
