He was predeceased by: his parents, Horace Palmer and Margaret Palmer (Pierce); his wife Nita J. McDaniel; and his brothers, Virgil Palmer and Lowell "Jack" Palmer (Dorothy "Doty").
He is survived by: his children, Randy Palmer (Maureen), Tim Palmer, Yolanda "Skeeter" Palmer (Scott Kasemodel) and Jay "Spanky" Palmer (Kristen Hansen); his grandchildren, Andy Palmer (Amanda), Ben Palmer (April Deane), Greg "Scooter" Palmer (Brooke), Tyler Palmer, Ryan Palmer (Jennifer), Casey Palmer (Jessica), Brandon Palmer, Jason Kasemodel (Ivy), Carlie, Chloe and Waylon; and his siblings, Faye Janey (John) and Jim Palmer. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
