He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Weittenhiller and Alta Weittenhiller (Schmidt). He is survived by: his wife Linda Karre; his children, Joshua (Lanccea), Ross (Becky) and Cassie; his granddaughters, Lilly and Amy; his aunts, Lucille Fassbender, Helen Piddington and Gloria Schmidt; and his close friend Caesar. He is also survived by several cousins, other relatives.
Gene's family asks that in lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to his family to be used to support Tower Rock School.
