He was predeceased by: his father George Sutton; his brother John Sutton; and his brother-in-law David Steiner. He is survived by: his mother Adeline Sutton (Chamberlain); his siblings, Bob Sutton (Cathy), Sharon Krause (Larry), Betty Brown (Rick), Linda Steiner and Ruth Vorwald (Kevin); his nieces and nephews, Jeff (Suzy), Jason (Lucinda), Jared (Rachel), Tanya (Steve), Todd (Josée), Adam, Tarah (Aaron), Chelsey (Luis), Amanda (Jason), Alison, Erika, Jessica (Ankur), Rebecca, Patricia, Nicholas (Adele) and Matthew (Keli); and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Jordan, Tyler (Brittney), Cody, Jake, Ella, Josephine, Vivienne, Brian (Anja), Ethan, Alannah, Austin, Alexander, Matthew, Benjamin, Aston, Annelie, Owen, Weston, Cruz, Emma, Aliya and Ryhan.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Peter Evangelical Lutheran Church (201 S Michigan St, Prairie du Chien, WI 53821). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Badger Camp and/or the Opportunity Center in Prairie du Chien or Come for Supper (CFS) in La Crosse, WI (https://www.oursaviorslutheranchurch.net).
