She was predeceased by: her parents, John V. Check and Amelia Check (Berntgen); her husband Leo Zimmerman; her siblings, Thelma Zimmer (Ed), Helen Evert (Wallace), Dorothy Zimmerman (Eldon), Ester Hamann (Harold) and Robert J Check (Janice); and her sister-in-law Debra Zimmerman.
She is survived by: her brothers, Bill (Wanda) of Prairie, Jack Check (Pat) of Prairie and Chien; her brother-in-law Steve "Tim" Zimmerman of Patch Grove; and her nieces, Renee Martin (David) of Prairie, Krista Zimmerman (Frank Cipra) of Prairie, Alisha Smrcina (Troy) of Prairie and Chien. She is also survived by many other nieces and nephews.
