She was predeceased by: her father Francis Downing; her son-in-law Mark Brown; and her sister-in-law Brenda Downing. She is survived by: her mother Elise Downing (Panka); her children, Kathryn Brown, Dennis Balaban, Heidi Buss (George) and Kerrianne Paulson; and her siblings, Sally Anderson (Leroy), Bruce Downing (Patty), Joe Downing and Marlene Byers. She is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
