With solemn reverence, we commemorate James W. Hannah of Prairie du Chien, Wisconsin, whose life came to an end on February 13, 2025 at the age of 80, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Hannah and Minnie Hannah (Renwick); and his wife Mary Kaye. He is survived by: his children, Peg Sanders (Joe), Tamie Thadi (Khalil), Heather Hannah (Titus Singleton) and Bill Hannah (Stacey); his siblings, Rick Hannah (Karen) and Patti Muto (Ben); and his grandchildren, Ben (Vanessa), Xavier (Katie), Rakia, Neysa (Andrew), Drake, Ryan (Claudia), Sarah (Toufiq), Sumayah (Esmail), Tyler (Keya), Hamza, Katie, Reagan and Lina. He is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:15 AM at the Garrity Funeral Home (704 S Ohio St, Prairie du Chien, WI 53821). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Of the Holy Family Parish (710 S Wacouta Ave, Prairie du Chien, WI 53821).
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the Prairie du Chien Military Honor Guard.
