It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Arthur Nelson of Prairie du Chien, Wisconsin, born in Decorah, Iowa, who passed away on October 20, 2023, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Nels Nelson and Florence Nelson (Kobriger); and his siblings, Carolyn Sampson, Alice Oxley, Charles and Nora Jean Nelson.
He is survived by: his wife Karen Lucey of Gabriel's Catholic Church; his son Michael Nelson (Jamie); and his grandchildren, Kennedy and Reagan. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
