He is survived by: his sister Judy Krug (Tom); his children, Robert J. Mayer, Anton B. Mayer, Mary M. Dixon (Mayer), Catherine A. (Mayer) and Breitsprecher; his grandchildren, James Mayer, Juliet Mayer, Nicolas Fiskaali, Tony Mayer, Curtis Dixon (Pua Freeman), Ellie Dixon, Catrina Mayer-Lynch (Patrick Lynch) and Gabrielle Breitsprecher; and his daughters-in-law, Spring Mayer, Kim Papenfuss-Anderegg and Daisy Mayer (Chavez-Medina).

A rosary will be held on Friday, March 21st 2025 at 9:30 AM at the Of the Holy Family Parish (710 S Wacouta Ave, Prairie du Chien, WI 53821). Visitation will be held on Friday, March 21st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, March 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
