He was predeceased by: his parents, Keith Tomlinson and Marion Tomlinson (Karow); his brother Mark Tomlinson; his nieces, Grace Tomlinson and Beth Kutz; his mother-in-law Bertha Bottjen; and his sister-in-law Debbie Licata.

He is survived by: his wife Annette Bottjen; his sons, Seth Tomlinson (Kelly) of Madison and Luke Tomlinson of Poynette; his grandchildren, Isaac and Greta Tomlinson; his siblings, Ellen Maier (Vern) and Kent Tomlinson (Toni); his sister-in-law Diane Tomlinson; his father-in-law Duane Bottjen; and his siblings-in-law, Beverly, Tim Ryan, Michelle, Denny Keister, David, Roxanna Bottjen, Aaron and Kari Bottjen. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
