He was predeceased by: his parents, John Wells and Doris Wells (Anderson); his brothers, John, Jay, Bernard and Stephen; and his siblings-in-law, Virginia Wells, Eva Brandon, Robert Brandon and Floyd Myren.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Zink; his children, Susan Hall of Fort Atkinson, WI, William Wells of Collierville, TN and James Wells (Malissa) of Lodi, WI.; his grandchildren, Alex Hall, Samantha Hall, Madison Wells, Brooke Wells, Austin Wells, Maggie Wells, Alyssa Langer, Gabe Surges, Kieran Surges and Rayne Sinclair; his siblings, Reed (Kathy) of Lodi, Johna Elsing of Poynette, Rita Clift (Steve) of Sun Prairie and Aleta Wells-Colvin of Portage; and his sisters-in-law, Sharron Wells of Pardeeville, Judy Wells of Poynette and Bonnie Myren of Marshall. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Despite COVID and cancer, Jerry and Betty were able to envelope themselves in a love they had known their entire adult lives.
