He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Schumann and Elaine Schumann (Roecker); his son Scott; and his brothers, Dennis and Darrell.
He is survived by: his granddaughter Mykiah; his wife Glenna; his daughter Brenda Schumann; his sisters, Sally Wagner (Gilbert) and Cindy Luedeman (Tom); and his sister-in-law Mary Gurlea (Tim). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Poynette-Dekorra Fire Department and EMS.
