Bakken of Poynette, Wisconsin, born in Middleton, Wisconsin, who passed away on September 18, 2024, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Martin Bakken and Elizabeth Bakken (Blaser); his spouse Shirley Hanson; his sons, Darwin and David; his daughter-in-law Tammy; and his siblings, Harold, Frances, Helen, Russell and Eshter.
He is survived by: his children, Cherie Anderson (Dennis), Dale Bakken, Brenda Miller (Jeff), Suzanne Pieper (Dave), Tammy Fisher (Jason), Tracey Sanner (Brent) and Darrell Bakken; his grandchildren, Christopher Anderson, Travis Anderson (Jenny), Amanda Motiff (Edward), Rebecca Miller, Jessica Dennis (Ryan), Christopher Bradley (Patricia), Timothy Bradley, Erica Dunn (Max), Katie Puener (Nick), Nicholas Bradley, Stephanie Gould, James Gould, Makaylee Bakken, Cassandra Lopez (Rigo), William Clute, Wyatt Juneau (Angie) and Nathan Bakken (Amanda); his siblings, Margaret Burmeister and Marvin Bakken; and his daughters-in-law, Nancye York-Bakken and Tina Bakken. He is also survived by 31 great grand-children, nieces, nephews, other relative and many friends.
