It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy Louise Schleichert (Poynette, Wisconsin), born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on October 8, 2019, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Simon Chaplan and Margaret Chaplan (Waldele). She is survived by: her husband Donald Vita, Jr.; her son Donald Vita III (Erin) of Sheridan, IN; her stepchildren, Holly Schaffner (Jeff) of Whitehall, WI and Perry Schleichert of Baraboo; and her sister Margaret Chaplan. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, three great-grandchildren.
