He is survived by: his wife Vicki; his daughter Jamie Birenbaum (Andy); his granddaughter Karley; his pet Milo; and his siblings, Vicki Carpenter (Keith), Joanne Hale (Jerry), Dean Simons (Janice), Jim Simons, John Simons and Donnie Simons (Linda). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
