He is survived by: his children, Kathleen Oehrlein (George) and Glenn Hoeft (Diane); his granddaughters, Karin Carl (Joshua) and Lisa Mueller; and his great grandchildren, David, Elizabeth, Daniel and Ezekiel Carl.
