He was predeceased by: his parents, Rolf G. Amundsen and Frances Amundsen (Reedy); his son Rolf Kenneth Amundsen; his niece Tina Austin; his brother Norman Amundsen; and his brother-in-law John Austin.
He is survived by: his pets, Marty and Tardis; his wife Irene; his son Neil Tom Amundsen (Sarah); his stepchildren, Mary Luedtke (Jarrod) and Neil John Pischner (Julie); his grandchildren, Nathaniel Amundsen, Neala, Ryden Luedtke and Joaquin Pischner-Gutierrez; his siblings, Miranda, Karen Austin and Dwight Freshwater; his nephews, Maurice Austin, Joey and Jason Freshwater; and also, Bellin Clinics, Crivitz, Green Bay, Marinette and Bellin Hospital.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the following non-profit and volunteer lay ministries: 1) Loaves & Fishes Ministry (First Lutheran Church, Beaver Dam, WI) a free weekly evening meal program started by CMOH graduates John & Linda Smedema.
