He is survived by: his parent Harriet Turtenwald (Bedora); his children, Sandra Larson (James), Richard A. Turtenwald (Joanne), Susan Peters (Robert) and Randy Turtenwald (Julie); his wife Marilyn; his grandchildren, Nicole, Tara, Richard M., Kristen, Alyssa, Steve, Chris, Mike, Ryan and Daniel; his great grandchildren, Breven, Bryce, Sophia, Richard T., Landon, Violet, Noah and Jazz; and his brother-in-law Bud Marks.
In lieu of flowers, memorials directed to Shriner's Hospital for Children-Chicago in Richard's name are appreciated.
