She was predeceased by: her parents, John Kieler and Margaret Kieler (Averkamp); her husband Jerry A. Ames; her sister Mary Lou Udelhofen (Jerry); her siblings-in-law, Gloria Curtis (Joe Winkler), Judy Ames and Dick Dempsey; and her pets, Woofer and Oreo (Diddy).
She is survived by: her children, Christy Wagner (Porter) of Dickeyville, WI, Philip Ames (Debbie) of Hollandale, WI, Scott Ames (Tammy) of Streamwood, IL, Kari Sue Frederick (Mark) of Cuba City, WI and Alan Ames (Julie) of Potosi, WI; her grandchildren, Angela Oleson (Erik), Makila Willger (Brandon), Stephanie Nihles (Mike), Paul Frederick, Anna Brox (Jacob), John Frederick, Kyle Frederick, Nathan Ames, Abigail Ames, Kieler Ames, Austin Ames and Amber Ames; her great grandchildren, Eli, Kiera Oleson, Nolan, Wagner, Charlotte, Zane Willger, Braxton, Aubree, Chloe, Drew Nihles, Emma Brox and Madelyn Ames; and her siblings-in-law, Janet Dempsey, Larry Ames and Gene Ames (Barb). She is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, a Nancy E. Ames Memorial Fund has been established.
