He is survived by: his wife Laura Payne of Portage; his children, William Payne of Pardeeville, Krystalyn, Marrisa, Bethany Payne, Dawn Payne of Portage and Diana Schieber (John) of Baraboo; his grandchildren, Artan Cholaku and Johnathan Schieber; his sisters, Barb Dalton (Bill Hayes), Kay Haberkorn (Alfred) of Dalton and Leona McLaughlin (Charles); his aunt Margaret Becker; and his siblings-in-law, Jon Johnson (Loretta) of Rockford, IL, Lorene McMurray (Jeff Wolsfelt) of Portage and Carl Hepler of Portage. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
