It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William G. Goetz of Portage, Wisconsin, who passed away on December 21, 2020, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of William G. Goetz to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Maxwell Goetz and Dorothy Goetz (Schenk); his wife Sharon Gustafson; his sisters, Marion Goetz Kinney and Barbara Goetz Foster; his brothers-in-law, Bill Kinney and Ronald Willis; and his nephew Tommy Gustafson.
He is survived by: his children, Gregory Goetz (Lisa Wray), Kris Acker (Josh) and Madison; his grandchildren, Keaton Marie Goetz Rosenbaum (Andrew) of Green Bay and Timothy Jon Goetz of St. Paul, MN; his siblings, Patricia Goetz Willis of St. Charles, IL and Donald Goetz (Elaina) of Las Cruces, NM; and his pet Steve. He is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many close friends.
Social distancing rules will be observed and masks required.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Columbia County Humane Society.
