She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Ruffridge and Cora Ruffridge (Barth); and her siblings, Norman Ruffridge (Neoma), Orville Ruffridge (Dottie), Curtis Ruffridge (Dorothy), Gordon Ruffridge, Palmer Ruffridge (Arla) and Harriet Brom (George).
She is survived by: her husband Eldon Nelson of Portage; her children, Jacalyn Stavlo (Jim) of West Salem and Eric Nelson (Sue) of Randolph; her grandchildren, Joseph Stavlo (Jami), Kim Stavlo, William Stavlo (Kristin), Kristian Nelson and Emma Nelson; her great grandchildren, Blake Emery, Elizabeth Stavlo, Ava Stavlo and William Stavlo; her sister Fern Dungey of New Hampton, IA; and her sisters-in-law, Arla Ruffridge of Decorah, IA and Joyce Braaten of Austin, MN. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
