He was predeceased by: his parents, Arnold Hansen and Agatha Hansen (Miller); his brother Jerry Hansen; and his brother-in-law Roger Cole. He is survived by: his sister Phoebe Cole; his niece Sue Jones (Jeff); his nephews, R. J. Cole (Amy) and Andy Cole (Maria); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Taylor Cole, Samantha Jones, Tatum Cole, Jordan Jones, Jaden Cole and Sawyer Cole; and also, Brecker Cole and Maverick Marsala. He is also survived by cousins and many friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family.
