She was predeceased by: her parents, Peter Hermanson and Emma Hermanson (Reque); her former husband Eugene Bergum; her husband Russell Hurd; her siblings, Gerda Michelson (Joe), Carol Harvey (Oscar), Elsa Hamre (Art), Gladys Hermanson, Sara Ann Selje (Ray), Alice Osterhaus (Austin), Selmar Hermanson, Otto Hermanson (Gladys), Harold Hermanson (Gertrude), Everett Hermanson (Maxine) and Eugene Hermanson (Ruth); her grandson Ben Bergum; her daughter-in-law Pam Bergum; and her siblings-in-law, Eleanor Cosgrove Larson, Beverly Evenson and Phillip Hurd.

She is survived by: her sons, Steven Bergum (late Pam), Robert Bergum (Cheryl "Sherry") and Paul Bergum (Barbara); her stepchildren, Neal Hurd, Norman Hurd (Pam) and Nancy McConochie-Zuelke; her grandchildren, Mark Bergum (Alison), Janna Bergum, Laurie Bergum, Eric Bergum (Haley Morrison) and Marissa Aeschlimann (Adam); her stepgrandchildren, Leslie, Joan, Betsy (John), Louis Hurd (Ana), Kevin Hurd and Jayne Hurd; her great grandchildren, Simon and Rona Bergum; her stepgrandchildren, Simona, Emilia, Anaka, Aniceto Navarro, Flynn, Bram, Jay and Ryker Aeschlimann; and her stepgreat-grandchildren, Josh, Jackson, Maya, Lenin, Reya, Ada, Alice and Andrew. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
