With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Shirley M. Puttkammer of Portage, Wisconsin, who passed away on January 21, 2021 at the age of 91. She was predeceased by: her parents, Fredrick Helmer and Gertrude Helmer (Miller); her husband Lester Puttkammer; her daughters, Judy Schneider and Peggy Lee Weishoff; her son-in-law Steve Schneider; her granddaughter Myna Schneider; her great grandchild Will Peterson; her siblings, Vernon Helmer, Florence Rodberg, Lois Rasmussen and June Eagan; and her brothers-in-law, Robert Utke, Henry Rasmussen, LeRoy Eagan and Alfred Rodberg.

She is survived by: her son Wayne Peterson (Karen); her son-in-law Jamie Weishoff (Tina); her grandchildren, Jacob Peterson (Megan), Jessica Bunker (Chad), Janelle Brown (Curt), Joshua (Darcy Peterson), Amanda Rizzotto (Jonathon) and Michelle Midthun; her great grandchildren, Zackery, Matilda, Elizabeth, Brodryc Peterson, Collin Peterson, Hannah, Olivia Bunker, Hayden, Jiliyan, Sofia, Chloe Brown, Sawyer, Ava Peterson, Jaini Rizzotto and Joseph Midthun; her great great grandchildren, Ezme and Nicolas Peterson; and her sisters, Ruth Utke and Cecile Peterson (Gerald). She is also survived by other relatives and many friends.

Social distancing rules will be observed at the church, with a limit of 50 people attending at one time.
