He is survived by: his wife Colleen; his children, Richard, Michael and Nichole; his children-in-law, Josh and Anna Marie; his brothers, Edward and Mario; and his grandchildren, Victoria, Elijah, Peter, Gideon, Asher, Isabeli, Judah, Noah, Madison and Geneveve.

Visitation was held on Friday, December 27th 2024 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Grace Bible Church (2939 County Rd CX, Portage, WI 53901). A memorial service was held on Friday, December 27th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to the GoFundMe established on Richard's behalf by his many friends throughout the aviation community.
