Bernicke (Portage, Wisconsin), born in Cumberland, Wisconsin, who passed away on November 29, 2023, at the age of 104, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Peterson and Della Peterson (Adams); her husband Paul; her siblings, Gwen Porter, Gene and Verlyn; her son-in-law Bill Davidson; and her grandson Royce Davidson.

She is survived by: her daughters, Jeanene Davidson of Oklahoma, Janice Bernicke of Oklahoma, Paula Bauch (Ralph) of Portage and Nancy Grussing (Jeff) of Trevor; her grandchildren, Paul Davidson, Alicia Littlefield, Gretta Haun and Vaughn Bauch; her great grandchildren, Kale, Kenna, Kaitlyn, Heather, Wyatt and Nash; and her brother Charles Peterson. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family, to be contributed to Phyllis' favorite causes.
