He was predeceased by: his significant other Susann "Sue" Mae McDonald (Skogen); his parents, Orrie Garfield McDonald and Lottie Mae McDonald (Barton); and his siblings, Orriel, Maurice, Angus (Tom), Chester, Mathew, Jane, Sheila, Agatha (Mickie), Patricia, Olive and Iris.
He is survived by: his daughter Kelly Wade (Phil); his grandson William "Billy" Schultz, Jr.; his son Timothy McDonald (Diane Roy); his siblings, Barbara Wolfgram (Darwin) and Donald McDonald (Myra); and his friend Rita Preuss. He is also survived by his family and many friends.
