He was predeceased by: his parents, Norman Sr. Peterson and Mildred Peterson (Philips); his sister Charlotte Johnson; and his brother-in-law Harold Johnson. He is survived by: his wife Ardyce Anderson August; and his children, Paul Peterson (Pam), Perry Peterson (Sue), Timothy Peterson (Diane), Bryan Peterson (Debra), Gwendolyn Nelson (Steve) and Susan Peterson. He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
