Merlyn D. Mohr Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Merlyn D. Mohr (Portage, Wisconsin), who passed away on November 27, 2022, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Mohr and Erma Mohr (Allenstein); his wife Helen Vogts; his granddaughter Lauren Coons; his sister Betty Jefferson; and his brothers-in-law, David Jefferson and Robert Vogts.
He is survived by: his children, Sandra Breneman (Richard), William Mohr (Donna) and Jean Coons (Robert); his grandchildren, Matthew Breneman (Kelley), Wendy Iversen (Scott), Nathan Mohr (Alicia), Amanda Henderson (Stephen), Kristin Schenck (Rob), Ashley Jansma (Adam), Daniel Coons (Sadie) and Elizabeth Graff (Zackary); and his close friend Joyce Scherbert. He is also survived by 15 great grandchildren, many other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Portage.
