He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Kingsley and Ruby Kingsley (Benjamin); his siblings-in-law, Harold (Maryanne Robinson), Carmine Robinson and Dwight Wernberg; his nephew Douglas Robinson; and his parents-in-law, Alfred and Lorella Robinson.

He is survived by: his children, Mark of Madison, Rod (Karla) of Wisconsin Dells, Neal (Lori) of Menomonie and Janet Morse (Tom) of Wisconsin Dells; his wife Marie Robinson; his grandchildren, Corey Kingsley (Sophie), Trevor Kingsley and Brianna Peltier (Benjamin); his children, Travis Morse (Rachel), Alyssa Bridges (Joshua), Jaret, Trey, Jacoby Morse, Madeline, Gabe, Gavin, David, Rubiemae, Mersadies Kingsley, Izel and Karlo; his great grandchildren, Melanie, Masen, Ethan, Jax, Max, Charlotte, Levi, Emily, Marissa, Tessa and Jedidiah; and his siblings-in-law, Alfred Robinson, Lola Wernberg and Anna May Messing (Terry). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, other relatives, and many friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials will be given to Melvin's two favorite missions.
