He was predeceased by: his parents, John Dushek and Johannah Dushek (O'Brien); his wife Janet Dushek; and his son David Dushek. He is survived by: his children, Laura Ritchie (Scott) of Sun Prairie, Johanna Dushek of Boyds and Jim Dushek (Jessie) of Verona; his daughter-in-law Susan Dushek of Briggsville; his grandchildren, Logan, Leyton, Kendall Ritchie, Joanie and Jocelyn Dushek; his brother Bernard Dushek (Mary Jean) of Portage; and his brothers-in-law, Jim Dunn (Joanne) of Madison and Dick Dunn (Marty) of Madison. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Memorials may be made to St. Mary's Catholic Church in Portage or St. Albert the Great Catholic Church in Sun Prairie.
