She was predeceased by: her parents, John Hild and Helen Gordon Hild; her former husband Victor Mayer; her mothers-in-law, Amelia Mayer and Margaret Johnson-Adamac; and her stepchildren, Carla and Jeff Spragg.
She is survived by: her husband Carl; her children, James, Julie (Kyle) and Jon; her stepchildren, Cindi Andersen (Kurt), Elena Gorman (Patrick) and Dana Houk (Roger); her grandchildren, Ian Andersen (Aimee), Michelle Harris (Skylar) and Erin Bauer (Rick); her great grandchildren, Gunnar and Sullivan Andersen; her pet Squeak; and her cousins, Jim, Christa Mraz, Dick and Linda Holcomb.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Portage United Methodist Church or the Columbia County Humane Society.
