Mary Ellen Grotzke Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Ellen Grotzke of Portage, Wisconsin, who passed away on January 8, 2023, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Davenport and Lillie Davenport (Peavey); her husband Peter Grotzke; her children, Jeff and Terri Amacher; her sons-in-law, Richard Bocek, Paul Sickles and Steve Drost; and her siblings, Roy, Art, Jim Davenport and Leona Evans.

She is survived by: her children, Christine Bocek, Kathy Sickles, Sandy Drost, Barb Van Asten (Mark) and Stacy Stolen (Mike); her siblings, Ron Davenport (Nancy), Roxanne Rohn (Wayne) and Carol Kampen (David); and her siblings-in-law, Lorraine Davenport and Walt Evans. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Columbia County Humane Society or Albert's Dog Lounge.
