We are sad to announce that on December 20, 2019, at the age of 91, Laverne H. Griffin (Portage, Wisconsin), born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Laverne H. Griffin to pay them a last tribute.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Wilmer "Red" and Marion Griffin (Buzzell); his wife Jan; his children, Martha Wiley, John "Jack" Griffin (Janet), Janet Griffin (Scott Haselton) and Mary Griffin (Ray Dietman); his siblings, Duane (Lotus), Bob (Connie), Nona and Ruthie; his grandchildren, Ed, Jeff Wiley, Cam, Josie Griffin, Nancy Dowd and John Dietman; his former wife Cozette; and his daughter Nancy. He was also cherished by five great-grandchildren, two-great-great grandchildren as well as numerous nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Portage Curling Club or Portage American Legion Post #47.
