He is survived by: his son Steven Hayes (Reeti); his sisters, Cynthia Wilkins, Sandra Alexander (Robert), Patricia Schehr (Jeff), Kristen Atkinson (William) and Tammy Olson (Jefferson); and his former wife Signa "Punky" Schaitel. He is also survived by his nieces, nephews, other relatives and many close friends.
