He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Miller and Dora Miller (Getzinger); his wife Gloria Denruiter; his siblings, Paul Miller, Ellen Miller, Doris Whittaker and Mary Jane Hamill; and his siblings-in-law, Betty Miller, Tom Whittaker, Don Hamill, Bill Mulhern and Bill Mack.

He is survived by: his former wife Nellie Bickel of LaFarge; his children, Mike, Jeff, Sue, Robert "Bob" Miller of Waunakee and Ellen Hooper (Rob) of Hickory, NC; his grandson Matthew Hooper of Norwood, MA.; his girlfriend Dorothy Casson of Portage; his partner's children, Kurt Casson (Lorraine) of Baraboo and Judi Casson of Portage; and his siblings, Lester, Gordon Miller (Nancy) and Gladys Mulhern.

Gloria died in 2004 from cancer and Parkinson Disease.
