He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Ulferts and Grace Ulferts (Lutterman); his wife Rita Hamele; his sister Lou Bradley; and his siblings-in-law, Jim, Bob, John, Don, Kay, Pat and Joni.
He is survived by: his daughter Julie Poff (Dave Walesh) of Manitowoc, WI; his sisters, Betty Levzow of Portage and Hazel Rogers (Ray) of Portage; his grandchildren, Jenna and Maxwell Poff; his nephews, Steve Sloggy and Dave Rogers; his niece Jean Busser; and his siblings-in-law, Tom Hamele (Phyllis), Joe Hamele (Linda), Chet Bradley, Peggy Hamele, Jeri Hamele and Vicky Hamele. He is also survived by many other nieces, nephews, and friends.
Gordy died after a courageous struggle with Dementia, then contracted a very real pandemic Covid 19.
