She was predeceased by: her parents, Herman Schwantz and Cora Schwantz (Stromner); her husband Kenneth Hatz; her siblings, Hildred, Charles, Edwin, Earl and Gladys; her nephews, Robert Dumke, Calvin Schwantz and Gary Schwantz; her niece Darlene Krause of Connie Chapman; her great-niece Christine Schwantz-Tetzlaff; and also Gary Van Wormer.

She is survived by: her niece Judith Van Wormer; her children, Deb O'Rourke (Pat), Emily, Daniel, Paddy, Gary, Jack, Craig Van Wormer (Gwen), Cassie Robinson, Jacob Robinson, Cathy Robinson, Keegan, Nicholas, Bailey, Jackie (Schwantz), Dylan Schwantz (Jenn), Carter, Owen, Kali and Austin Raimer; her niece Kathleen Schwantz; her children, Phillip Lentz, Travis Lentz and Taylor; her nieces, Sharlene Dumke Marsh and Ruth Ann Dumke; her children, Kaden, Kiley, Kegan, Wendy (Chapman) and Dittman; her great-nephews, Robert Schwantz (Jill), Gemini, Lilyian, Roary, Jim Krause (Debbie), Richard Krause, James Locke, Michael Chapman (Rebecca), Mike Schwantz (Tammy), Nick, Ella and Kaelynn; her sister-in-law Dorthea Tritz (Hatz); her children, John Tritz, Tom Tritz and Larry Tritz; and also, Dawn Krause Urban (Tom) and Tammy Chapman. She is also survived by other relatives and many friends.
