He is survived by: his wife Marsha Vernon; his daughters, Erin Ruckert (Adam) of Portage and Adrienne Essar (James Jr.) of Mattawan; his grandchildren, Aurora, Elliott Ruckert, Wyatt, Jackson and Grace Essar; his siblings, Don Anger (Gay) of Breckenridge and Linda Anger of Kalamazoo; and his siblings-in-law, Lorelei Anger of Indianapolis, Ron Vernon (Kathy) of Corunna, Chuck Vernon (Judy) of Kalkaska and Deb Robinson (Rob) of Clio. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
