It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bill Short (Portage, Wisconsin), who passed away on March 10, 2018, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Bill Short to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his brother Donald Short; and his brother-in-law Christian Hayes. He is survived by: his wife Ruth; his children, Ruth Ziegler of Florida, Dale Short (Sandra) of Minnesota, Johanna Hyland (Lynn) of Kalamazoo and Stephanie Velasco (Gordon) of Kalamazoo; his grandchildren, Nicholas Velasco, Nathaniel Velasco, Lindsey Kramer (Travis), Jenna Howland (Kyle), Christopher Short, Eric Hyland (Cecilia), Kristen Hyland and Cassidy Hyland; his great grandchildren, Lincoln, Emma, Judah, Silas and Connor; his siblings, Ella Hayes and David Short (Sharon); his sister-in-law Candice Short; and also, Eric and Bill.
Memorial donations may be made to Portage West Middle School band program.
