She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis Achterberg and Marie Achterberg (Butterfield); her husbands, James E. Troup and Robert W. Christianson; and her brothers, William, Eugene, James and Charles Achterberg.
She is survived by: her children, Pat Christianson of Joliet, Illinois and David Christianson (Kay) of Madison; her grandchildren, Benjamin Christianson (Kristen) of Sun Prairie and Zachery Christianson of Columbus; her great grandchildren, Harvey and Everett; and her sister-in-law Joyce Achterberg of Branson, Missouri. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Betty's name to Agrace Hospice.
