She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Olson and Valgene Olson; her husband Franklin Murphy; and her siblings, Clarice Rech and Duane Olson.

She is survived by: her former husband Frank Murphy; her daughter Wendy Walker (Randall); her stepchildren, Mary Bessler (Don), Joanne Spice (Tom), Sharon Rohde (Kevin), Sue Murphy (Teresa), Jeanne Coenen (Steve) and Jeff Murphy (Lori); and her sister Marjorie Klessig (Robert). She is also survived by 18 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; along with many other relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers a memorial fund will be established.
