She was predeceased by: her parents, William F. Schanen and Laura Schanen; her husband Gerald; and her siblings, Bette Schanen, Robert Schanen and William F. Schanen Jr. (Marie).
She is survived by: her children, Gerald A. Gruen Jr. (Jean) of Port Washington, Lorelei Hosler (Kirk) of Melbourne Beach, Fla. and Lorna Nagler (Bill) of Sarasota, Fla.; her grandchildren, Deirdre Coder, Brett and Ty Hosler; and her great grandchildren, Evelyn, Breane, Cassandra and Arthur.
