He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Ben, Grace Melichar, Charles and Shirley Graham; and his uncles, Dan Melichar and Jim Melichar.
He is survived by: his parents, Benjamin Melichar and Cheryl Melichar of Fredonia; his wife Selma Celikovic; his children, Emma and Jake; his brother Jason Melichar (Laura); his nieces and nephews, Grace, Addeline and Blake; his siblings-in-law, Hajrudin, Taiba Celikovic and Nerma Handzic (Arnes); his nieces and nephews, Sadin and Timur; and his brother-in-law Kasim Celikovic. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins, and many, many friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested for his children's future education.
