He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene Mayer and Lorena Schueller Mayer; and his brothers, Dennis and Joseph. He is survived by: his siblings, Eugene Mayer (Marilyn) and Mary Meyer (Eugene); and his nieces and nephews, Linda Szczerbinski (Scott), Pattie Miller (Tim), Laurie Dybul (Mike), Mark Mayer, Amy Schroeder (Alex), Jeff Mayer, Katie Sumners (David) and Alan Meyer (Melissa). He is also survived by 16 great nieces and nephews.
