With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of James H. Schleg (Port Washington, Wisconsin), born in Green Bay, Wisconsin, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 15, 2024 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact James had on those he encountered along his journey. Though James may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, his essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Theodore Schleg and Elnore Schleg; his wife Beverly Dommer of John's Lutheran Church; and his siblings, Tom Schleg (Fran) and Penny Wawrzyniak (Gene).
He is survived by: his children, Yvonne Klotz (Russell) of Port Washington, Stephanie Schleg of Sheboygan, Thomas Schleg (Amy) of Saukville and Rachel Kleczka (Paul) of Chandler, Arizona.. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, other family, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to CALMS (Central American Lutheran Mission Society) in Jim's name are suggested.
